How much should I budget for tips?

Tipping is not compulsory in Vietnam, however, it is recommended to tip your tour guides/drivers/ if you are happy with their work. It is difficult to advise you how much you would tip them, we might suggest you spend the bonus from $5 – $10 per driver per day and $10 - $15 per guide per day. In fact, they do not care much about it but if they got, it will be a huge encouragement for them to do their business. It is fine when they get tipping in USD or AUD (or anything else).
