DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG - HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY
Leave Hanoi at 9:30 AM if you take the private transfer or from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM if you take the shuttle bus and arrive in Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai City around 12:00PM transportation service on your request.
12:00: We arrive at the office in Got pier, Cat Hai Village, Hai Phong city, where you will be welcomed by our crew.
12:30: Embark Mon Chéri Cruises. You will be served a welcome drink and provided with a cold towel. This will be followed by a cruise briefing where you will also be given safety instructions before checking in to your cabin. We will set sail and you will have lunch in Mon Cheri's luxury restaurant while enjoying the beauty of the canals on our way to Halong Bay.
15:30: We arrive at Light and Dark Cave, where you can do kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by local people. Then return to Mon Chéri Cruises, followed by swimming near the ship.
17:30: Return to Mon Chéri Cruises, where you can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary sunset party.
18:30: Then take part in cooking demonstration to learn about our Vietnamese cuisine. You can also enjoy the massage service which is available onboard. Please book directly with the Cruise Manager on the boat
19:00: A great dining experience awaits you.
20:45-0:00: After finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic ballad music, enjoy drinks from the bar try your luck at squid fishing, watch a movie or relax in your room.

DAY 2: CAT BA ISLAND – HAI PHONG - HANOI
6:15: Wake up early to start your perfect day with Tai Chi class or watch the sunrise on the top deck.
7:00: Light breakfast is served. in the restaurant.
8:00: Visit Cat Ba Island. You are taken by bus to visit the most beautiful stalagmite and stalactite cave, located in Cat Ba National Park.
10:00: Return the boat and check out the cabin. Then have brunch in restaurant while the boat sails back to pier. We settle the bill at the end of trip.
11:30: Disembark the boat and return to port.
12.15: Get on the D-car transfer and return to Hanoi with the surcharge if required.
15:00: Arrive at Hanoi. End of the trip

Some outside activities would not be recommended for the elderly above 70 years old, the handicapped, the kids and pregnant women. Guests should wear sport shoes when go sightseeing the Trung Trang cave.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VAN BOI BAY - CAT BA ISLAND
6:15: It is perfect to prepare for your energetic day in the early morning to admire the marvelous sunrise while attending the Tai Chi class on the top deck.
7:00: Light breakfast is served in the restaurant.
8:00: Start to go sightseeing. After about 15 minutes moving by bus, you will have 20 to 30 minutes involved in biking activity through Cat Ba National Park optional. Bus is available for those do not want to join or cannot be capable to join this activity.
9:30: Visit Cat Ba Town to see the local people activities. After biking through Cat Ba National Park, the car will transfer you to the center of Cat Ba Town.
11:30: Return to the boat, where a Vietnamese local lunch is served on the day boat.
14:00: Kayaking to explore Van Boi Bay or Monkey island and visiting the local people who live in the floating village, followed by swimming at a pristine beach and kayaking.
16:00: Back on board Mon Chéri Cruises. You are free to take a shower before enjoying the sunset party with a new group of guests.
19:00: Another great dining experience awaits you.
20:45 – 00:00: After finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with lovely music, enjoy drinks from the bar, try your luck again at squid fishing, watch a movie or retire to your room.

DAY 3: CAT BA ISLAND – HANOI

Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied.
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system SSL.
Cancellation & Refund:
• Cancellation will be charged as follow:
- From 1-5 cabins:
+ More than 30 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 30 to 11 days prior to the arrival: 30% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ From 10 to 4 days prior to the arrival: 50% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ Less than 3 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
- No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 6 cabins and more:
+ More than 60 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 60 to 31 days prior to the arrival: 30% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ From 30 to 11 days prior to the arrival: 50% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ From 10 to 4 days prior to the arrival: 70% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ Less than 3 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
- No-Show: Will be charged in full.
• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing by email or fax.
Child Policy:
- Only one child under 5 years old stays free of charge when using existing bed with two adults.
- Child rate applies from 5-12 years old:
+ Maximum one child below 12 years old is allowed to share existing bedding with adults. Child pays 50% of adult rate per person double occupancy sharing.
+ Two children below 12 years old stay in a separate cabin. Each child pays 75% of adult rate per person double occupancy sharing.
Extra Bed Policy:
The surcharge is 80% of one person rate for one extra bed. Limited to one extra bed per cabin only.
Bad Weather Policy:
In the event the cruise is affected by bad weather, the cruise company reserves the right to cancel all or parts of their cruises services. Following charges may be applied:
- Cancellation before 11:00 o'clock at cruise date: Full refund for the cruise package but transportation will be charged if any.
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal lunch only no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor: US$ 35 per person.
- Cruise is canceled and guests have meal lunch and round-trip transfer Hanoi - Got Ferry Pier only no cruise, no overnight, boat stays in the harbor: US$ 35 per person + transportation.
- Day cruise 3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat: US$ 75 per person.
- Day cruise 3-4 hours cruise, no overnight, lunch on boat, round-trip transfer Hanoi - Got Ferry Pier: US$ 75 per person + transportation.
- Only for 3 day/2night cruise program:
+ Complete 2 day/1 night cruise and back to shore before 10.00 A.M of day 2: the cruise rate of 2 day/ 1 night package is charged + transportation if any.
+ Complete 2 day/ 1 night cruise and use the day boat and back to shore before 17.00 of day 2: 75% of the total price of 3 day/ 2 night cruise package is charged + transportation if any.
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 12:30 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification/ passport are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
- Surcharge for Christmas Eve 24 December and New Year Eve 31 December & Vietnamese Lunar New Year's Day: US$ 50 per adult and US$ 25 per child.
