I was just going to email you and you sent your email! We had a wonderful time in Vietnam thanks to all your excellent arrangements. The transfers worked like clockwork and the cars and drivers and tour guide on Thursday were all so good. The Violet was just fabulous and we got the Dragon Suite! We had perfect weather in Halong Bay and we are so glad we did not try to do it in one day and that we were able to spend the night on the boat. The lighting in the sunset and sunrise times was spectacular. We have so many beautiful photos to preserve our memories. We did buy some art too and enjoyed visiting the Humanities Center which is half way to Halong Bay and also again in Hanoi.
Next on our list is Cambodia and possibly Ho Chi Minh and we will be contacting you when we decide to plan a trip to those places.

Was nervous booking over the internet. Tra Le was extremely polite and helpful and provided me confidence to continue the booking. All information provided was accurate. Tra Le was prompt with replying to emails and punctual at time of meeting at hotel to finalise the booking and payment. The driver was very good and safe driving skills. The cruise personnel Annie and Tommy were amazing. How lucky to have wonderful staff. They made us feel very special and gave all passengers equal attention. They ensured everyone was having a great time. Their humour was excellent. The only disappointment with the trip was disembarking and having to wait over an hour for transport back to Hanoi. Return transport immediately after disembarkation really needs to be considered as a priority.

We stayed in the Dragon suite for a night as both Dragon and Phoenix were occupied by guests that had arrived the day before. So Tom (Violet Supervisor) gave us Moon on the first night and moved us to Dragon on the second night.
Mr Tanh is a good driver and we recommend him highly.

The Ha Long Bay cruise was really a life time experience for us especially when we were treated like VIPs: exclusive shuttle bus service to and from Ha Long Bay as well as Phoenix cabin accommodation on the Violet. The on board cuisine was especially worth appraised as it surpasses any of the dishes we have come across either in Intercontinental Hotel or Ly Club. We should have missed a lot in our short stay and I am sure we will revisit Hanoi in the not too distant future.
